Dr. Soto completed his family medicine residency in October 2008 from San Jacinto Methodist Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine, where he was awarded the I-CARE Values Award. He received his medical degree from Universidad Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic; and then completed additional medical education at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida. Dr. Soto was born and raised in Cuba where he finished his undergraduate studies and initial medical education. He is a member of American Academy of Family Practice, American Medical Association, the Harris county Medical Society of Family Physicians and the American Professional Wound Care Association.
His practice interests include general family medicine and aesthetic medicine. He has special training and interest in wound care.
Dr. Soto, and his wife Miriam and three children are local residents. He looks forward to serving Bay Area Houston residents, especially those residing in Friendswood, Alvin, and Pearland. Dr. Soto enjoys many hobbies such as scuba diving, martial arts, fishing and music.
